August 10, 2020 - Hemi portfolio, Plus.ai, will be putting their trucks to the test. The Transportation Research Center (TRC) in Ohio is set to begin rigorous testing of the Plus.AI Automated Driving System (ADS) in realistic conditions. August 3, 2020 - PitchBook-NVCA Venture Monitor recently published the 2020 Q2 report with three key highlights. The top 15 funds raised in H1 2020 totaled $22.7 billion, making up over half of all VC fundraising in the year so far. Now that funds are taking longer to liquidate and have higher proportions of unrealized value, the length of the pandemic’s effect will be crucial for the VC exit environment. Overall deal counts dipped while late-stage financings sustained strength in aggregate capital investment. 

July 27, 2020 - After COVID-19 forced many people out of their cubicles and into home offices, looking forward, startups are moving away from traditional offices. Companies are shifting from their kitschy perks like foosball tables and nap-pods to offering remote work as a recruiting perk that is also a cost-saver. July 6, 2020 - As the US emerges in stages from coronavirus quarantines, many people who have been working from home are being called back to their offices. The program administered by the Small Business Administration through participating banks saw an overwhelming demand, leaving many businesses still in need of help. Although the SBA is no longer accepting applications for the Paycheck Protection Program or the Economic Injury Disaster Loan (EIDL), there may still be some debt relief options available, such as SBA Bridge Loans and SBA Debt Relief.
